Types of visits
FREE VISITS
This is the free entrance to the church in order to be able to contemplate the temple. We have long opening hours, especially on weekday mornings. Specifically, on Wednesdays and Thursdays the church remains open until 1.30 p.m., so that from 11.00 a.m., when the last mass finishes, it can be visited, either by individual tourists or also by groups assisted by guides, from municipal districts, school groups, etc. All these visits are free of charge, although we would be very grateful for any contribution that would help us in the conservation and rehabilitation of the temple. You will find a money box at the entrance to the church where you can deposit your donation.
However, we reserve the right to cancel these free visits without prior notice, if necessary, for pastoral reasons or to carry out repairs or similar. Free visits are not possible during the months of July and August since this is the time when we usually carry out major works and restorations and due to staff holidays.
For organisational and security reasons, these visits do not include the exhibition area of the choir loft.
GUIDED VISITS
Every Tuesday, from 11.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. (except on holy days, and in July and August) there will be guided tours at a cost of €5 per person. In order to participate, it is essential to register by email visitas@rpmagdalena.org y contar con la confirmación por esa misma vía. Normalmente los grupos visitantes se componen con un mínimo de cinco personas, y se intenta que no superen las 25 personas.
As La Magdalena is a church and not a museum, weekends and holy days of obligation quedan reservados exclusivamente para la liturgia, la oración y actividades de evangelización. No obstante, trataremos de organizar visitas guiadas en días festivos «civiles» (Día de Andalucía, 1 de mayo, Constitución, etc.), que iremos anunciando a través de nuestras cuentas en las redes (@RPMagdalena).

ARRANGED VISITS
Provided that they are compatible with masses and other liturgical events, the parish church may exceptionally open for visits outside the usual timetable, on a previously arranged date and with the artistic lighting of the church switched on.
To request a visit, please send an email to visitas@rpmagdalena.org indicating the proposed date and number of people as well as the name of the institution requesting the visit. The price per visit is €50 if there are less than 10 people, or €5 per person if there are 10 people or more.
In order to fit in with the rest of the parish life, the preferred time for these visits will be in the afternoon, from 5.30 to 6.30 p.m., and while the free visit takes place from Tuesday to Thursday (Friday mornings are not possible, as the church is closed for cleaning). If a guide from the parish is required, this can be requested in advance by email.
